Having a mental health problem makes life more than difficult. You face difficulty in doing your everyday work which are done very easily. This makes you feel even more depressed. And a plus point is added by people who are not at all ready to accept that even such thing exist. such people make you feel like you are alone in this and you have no one to share your feelings with because you think that no one will understand your thoughts.
But this may not be true! There may be some true friends who really want to help you and are ready to listen to your every thought without passing a judgement.
Not Everyone Is Same:
First, you need to stop thinking that everyone is same. Not everyone is mean or judgemental. Yes there may be a few of them but that does not mean that the whole world is like that. First step towards overcoming your depression is stop seeing negative around you and start finding positive energy. Once you will find that positive energy, you will feel that this energy will be start transferring towards you. As you know company matters alot.
Don't Let Things Pile Up In Your Mind:
Your depression will become worse if you start gathering different thoughts in your mind. Some people have different questions in their mind regarding themselves, their lives and many more. But as they dont find any trustworthy person near them, they prefer not to say any thing. They just start gathering different thoughts in their minds and when their mind become filled will all that negative vibes they start going into depression.
So the best way to avoid this situation is through everything out. even if you dont find anyone near your just write it down atleast and let all the negative energy out of you.
How To Find Someone You Can Trust:
Yes, sometimes we think that there is no one near me to whom we can share our feelings. In this case finding someone to trust can be very difficult but it's not impossible.
Just see in your surroundings which person is most loyal with you. once you have found that person, try sharing little things with him or her. Not big secrets but just little things that you can easily tell.
After this wait and observe for sometime that is he trustworthy? has he kept his promise? is he judged you or supported you?
Once you are confident about that person you can share your thoughts with him and take his help in getting out from all the anxiety and depression.
How It Will Help?
Having an honest friend is really a blessing. You have a free therapist with you who will listen to your problems. Sometimes will give solutions to them and when its not possible, he will stand by your side and support you to face that situation. So having someone to talk is really a great help specially for someone who has some mental health problems!
